Hi, I’m Jason Metka, the founder of Black Swan Tattoo Company — and a tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
For as long as I’ve been tattooing, I’ve watched clients struggle with aftercare products that were either too harsh, too synthetic, or just not designed with healing skin in mind. I’ve also spent years seeing how those products affected tattoos in the long term — from clogged pores to slowed healing to dull, dry skin that could’ve healed better with the right support.
So I decided to make my own.
Black Swan Tattoo Aftercare was born from my experience tattooing clients, my respect for the art, and my commitment to doing better for both skin and the people who wear tattoos.

Why I Chose Clean Ingredients
I’ve always believed that healing a tattoo shouldn’t come at the expense of your skin or your health. That’s why every formula I make is built from natural, food-grade ingredients — and absolutely free from the stuff I never wanted my clients to use:
No petroleum
No parabens or synthetic preservatives
No GMOs, hexane, phenoxyethanol, or propylene glycol
No nano particles or irradiation
No animal testing, ever

Why I Made This for You
I started this line because I wanted something I could feel good about recommending to my clients. Something I knew would work — and that wouldn’t bring in any of the junk so common in the skincare world.
This brand isn’t a side project. It’s the result of two decades of tattooing, asking questions, learning about ingredients, and testing everything on real skin. I didn’t just want to make something "natural" — I wanted it to perform.
