When dealing with freshly done tattoos, think of it more like a wound you need to care for. Putting harsh chemical ingredient cosmetics into open skin is far from ideal.
Our aftercare products are crafted from natural, food-grade ingredients that meet strict quality standards. Every raw material is biodegradable, sustainably sourced, and held to FCC or USP guidelines.
Designed by a professional tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience, each formula uses a minimal ingredient approach to maximize effectiveness and support optimal tattoo healing.

Aftercare Instructions
Thoroughly wash tattoo with warm water and BSTC Cream Cleanser or mild soap.
Pat dry with a clean towel
During the healing process avoid prolonged sun exposure until fully healed and avoid submerging (baths, swimming) your tattoo for the first 7-10 days or until there is no noticeable scabbing. Showering and keeping your tattoo clean is fine, but no soaking. There is no need to wash your tattoo multiple times per day unless you do something that warrants it; such as sweating or working in a dirty environment.
Do not pick or scratch at your new tattoo. This can cause your tattoo to heal poorly, as well as scarring, which will show up as imperfections in the tattoo work.
For the first week apply a very thin layer of BSTC Healing Balm and gently work it into the skin. The Healing Balm is very concentrated and only a small amount is necessary. We recommend applying 1-3 times per day or whenever the tattoo is feeling dry, tight or itchy.
After 7 days, switch to BSTC Soothing Salve. Apply a thin layer and gently work it into the skin. Continue using the Salve whenever your tattoo feels dry, tight, or itchy until fully healed. BSTC Soothing Salve also works great after the healing process to brighten tattoos and nourish dry skin.
*Both the Balm and the Salve can be used interchangeably if one is preferred over the other, but using them together is recommended for best results.
